art Selbach, image composer and Image Conductor (Bildkomponist und Dirigent), lebt und arbeitet in Hamburg. Mit seiner collection harbourlights begann er im Jahr 2010. Die ständig wachsende Kollektion umfasst heute etwa dreihundertdreißig Arbeiten.

Er sagt: “Farben sind die Instrumente des Orchesters, Kontraste sind die Tongeschlechter von Dur und Moll in Hell und Dunkel”.

Seine Bildkompositionen sind Symphonien in Farbe und Kontrast. Das Werk ist das Konzert, die Komposition, die aus mehreren Sätzen geschrieben wird, dirigiert “unter der Leitung“ von art Selbach.

Die exklusiven Werke sind große zeitgenössische Kunst, modern, unabhängig.

art Selbach ist durch fast achtzig Länder gereister Fotograf mit weitreichenden Erfahrungen im Bereich der kreativen Bildkomposition sowie in der Umsetzung von Fotoaufträgen. Diese bringt er heute als Künstler und Art Director in zahlreichen Unternehmungen ein.

Zunächst in der Fashion Industrie unterwegs, hat er fast dreißig Jahre für Agenturen, Verlage, Redaktionen und Industriefirmen gearbeitet. Der ausgebildete Architekturfotograf schenkt mit der collection harbourlights und der jüngeren fine art collection hamburglights seiner Leidenschaft zur visuellen Empathie seiner Kompositionen den kunstvollen Ausdruck. Er sieht sich als Komponist der hellen und dunklen Bildtöne und als Dirigent der Verschmelzung seiner Einzelwerke. Daraus kreiert er:

Initially working in the fashion industry, he has spent over twenty years working for agencies, publishers and editorial offices. With the collection harbourlights and the more recent fine art collection citylights, the trained architectural photographer gives artistic expression to his passion for the visual empathy of his compositions. He sees himself as a composer of light and dark pictorial tones and as a conductor of the fusion of his individual works.
